Hello, I have a built in Viking dishwasher and lately it does not work unless I keep pushing the door closed.Then it starts and when I leave the door it stops without finishing the whole cycle. What can i do to fix this? Thanks

It sounds like one of two things: Inside the door are simple micro switches on the latch assembly it could be that one of these is not making a good contact or is misaligned. Secondly the latch on the top of the dishwasher could be loose meaning that it is not engaging the latch mechanism inside the door itself. Hope this helps. Let me know if you get anywhere with that!
