Hello. I have a Mercedes w 210 E class.Today one warning appear on the panel .'' Overvoltage Go to workshop''. What does it mean?What happen fisically in the alternator to overproduce the tension?How much is the max voltage it should be in the + - terminals of the alternator?Is it expensive?I am an Electrical engineer ,,can i change it ,or it is needed to go to workshop to lift the car up?Thank you in advance for your response.
