Hello I have a Wahl zx590 small food processor. When I plug it in without anything in it, it works fine, but as soon as I put something in it, it doesn't spin. It makes the noise but no cutting. Can anyone help? Christophe Thank you

Most likely you have stripped out the drive linkage at the coupling. (Where the motor seperates from the blades)
I am not specific to this device. And it's probably not going to be cost-effective to try to get the parts to fix the cheaper models. But most devices (with this problem) use a drive coupling made of a square or star shaped plastic drive hole in the bowl that mates with a matching end on the drive shaft made out of plastic. These round out if the motor starts with out fully engaging the drive first, or if the bowl is over loaded.
btw. This happened instantly when I followed my wife's suggestion and tried to make icy frozen drinks with her new Oster hand blender. It destroyed all the plastic parts completely. Leaving only the motor inside spinning uselessly. $24 USD completely destroyed. -- sithigh
Somehoe the blade inside the jar ahs come loose, look on top of the blade you should see a nut if not you should see threads if you see threads then you have lost the nut.
