Hello i have an 03 mercury grand marquis.im not working right now semi retired living on a fixed income. the rear end had to be changed. it was a 2.76 ratio its now a 3.27 my speedo now not acurate

May have to program the power train control module for this ratio .
You'll need to take it to a transmission specialist. They might be able to correct the ratio by fitting either a different rim size, a different tyre size or both. One full rotation of a tyre gets shorter as the profile, (sidewall height), gets smaller. So the correct 'low profile' tyre could fix the problem for not too much money.
