A capacitor is embedded in the circuit which keeps a charge to run the this unit. A capacitor is used for holding extra voltage needed to run all the working functions at a higher voltage. The display works off a very low voltage which is provided by the invertor plug into the wall socket. Whe a capacitor goes bad itwill show a hairline crack in it. The crack provides the voltage to leak out since the seal has been broken.Capacitors are sold at Radio Shack amd electrical suppy stores. Yours will have nubers on it with the letter u between the numbers. That will be the item number needed for replacement if done by you
Hello, the speed keypad control board is kind of faulty,so it has to be serviced or replaced.it might be kind of due for servicing or probably if water or any other form of liquid is poured on it,this could also make them not to function.Try calibrating the console. If it doesn't work, you'll need a new motor control board.then the main control panel or board is bad. This is like the brain of the machine. You may have to test the circuits with a volt and ohmmeter to figure out which buttons are not responding. thanks for using fixya,
hello,With the key in the console, press one of the incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds reinsert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level. This will recalibrate the incline system.

Hi, you have a failed control board panel, which the keypads are attached to. Once you press the keys and they don't respond, then you need to change the board..
