Hello, I have an mp3 player, I recorded a meeting on it. I had a friend convert it into cd's, but the cd's only play on my computer and they won't play on my cd player radio, and they won't play in the car. I was told its the way they were recorded I believe they are in a file called "act" and "wave" I'm trying everything to try to transfer the meeting onto regular cd's that will allow me to play on a cd radio and in the car. Is there anyway you could assist step by step in doing so. thank you
CD players only recognize .AUD (audio) format files. Most newer ones will also play MP3. You will need a act to aud converter. Many freeware apps are available online. Simply Google... Audio Converter And find one that will suit your needs. If you have the .WAV file - it is much easier!
XCCMixer can do it. select a wav file, rightclick and choose copy to AUD.
WAV2AUD : converts a WAV file to AUD format. Find many more converters HERE...
