Hello, I have an RCA standard definition television. Whenever I press the power button, instead of turning on the red power LED flashes (about 24 times) and then stays lit. There is no picture or sound, the tv stays black. Can you give me any advice on solving this problem?

The High voltage Horizontal output transistor is dead.That the transistor sit outside of the wall of the FBT-flyback tranformer is a black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT-(tv tube) U have soldering iron,a roll of solders and know basic electronic.The "H" trasistor replaced that and resolders the FBT-flyback transformer,should solved this problems.
