Hello, I ordered a Viewsonic VG2021m monitor a while ago, and recently, the monitor shows nothing but black when plugged in. All cables on it have been checked, and my computer acknowledges it is there, but nothing shows up on the screen. Some people that I have talked to have suggested a possible backlight problem. If that is the problem, I would like to know where I'd be able to get it fixed, or if I could buy replacement parts and fix it myself. Thank you

This is 2006 model year, more likely to have bad caps problem in the power supply, look for caps with leaking/bulging tops first, also look to see if you do have 12~18vdc feeding the inverter circuits.
