Hello, my CD-Player on the BeoCenter 9000 does not open any longer. It makes some sounds, so I assume that the motor is still running, but something else is wrong. Can I fix this alone or do I need to bring it in. I think we bought the whole thin in 1988 or so. Anybody that would know how to deal with this??

The doors are belt driven so change the belts first and clean the door guide rails.p/n2732076
