Hello, This is a typical problem with these Russian manufactured NV monocular. Without disassembling the unit and doing some basic trouble shooting on the circuits. NV monocular I have work on. The problem seems to be 1st generation image tube goes south in one fast stroke.
If you can find someone to work on this NV monocular. Only thing need is know that the cathode of the image intensifier tube operates at 15KV switch dc which are 90 degrees out of phase. In other words, it just AC voltage. The tube will have operating current at 12ma to 10ma.
Also, I can't use this forum for drumming up bussiness. I am retired and my experience go back to 1965 work on PVS2 and others. stewbison
