Help. I need to replace the regulator and hose on my grill. But I don't know how to undo the old hose. The Hardware store told me to use a wrench and unscrew the hose but it isn't working. I've tried to turn the hose both clockwise and counter clockwise but it isn't unscrewing. And I've tried pulling it but that doesn't work either. I am trying not to force it until I get better advice. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately, you'll have to replace the hose and the regulator. As what you have, is really all one piece. The hose/regulator combination is not that expensive and there are generic ones that will work. Be sure to take your hose/regulator combination with you to your hardware store, Lowe's or Home Depot to get the proper size and length. Look at sending around $15.00 to $20.00 for the combination.
When you install the new one, be sure to check for leaks before using the grill.
I'm having the same problem. I've bought the hose/regulator combo no problem, but like the guy above, I can't get the old one off to put the new combo on. It's like it's pinched on. No threads, nothing.I'm having the same problem. I've bought the hose/regulator combo no problem, but like the guy above, I can't get the old one off to put the new combo on.
