Your panel is faulty and has loose connections in the wiring from the card to the actual lcd panel sides. You could try opening it up and blowing on the sides with a hair dryer to see if they will reseat. Has the unit been in high heat lately? I have seen this occur in cases where the screen has been sitting in a hot car and allowed the connections to loosen from heat that way. There are companies that will reseat the connectors if you can not get it going, but it is somewhat expensive. Try the hair dryer though first.
