Help, need to start a briggs and stratton 158 mower, and can't. not mine, so not sure of its quirks, also not a lawnmower person, use a brushcutter normally. lawnmower in good condition, got oil and fuel, primed 3 x, have tried to pull start it in with throttle half open, and fully open. have put a knot in cord as i am short armed woman!! need suggestion. gotta mow the lawn

After trying to start it a bunch of times, take spark plug out and see if it's wet with gas.
All mowers start with throttle High and with the choke on OR if it has a primer bulb, you have to prime it until you see gas in the bulb
