HELP when I installed a 1Gb 667MHz pc2-5300 pc2-4200 DDR2 Corsair Ram stick in my everex cloudbook. It wouldn't boot up not even the BIO's. I tried the old RAM which was a 512 DDR2 sdram 677mhz adata RAM stick it still wouldn't boot up.I really need some help

Just trying a stick of RAM shouldn't kill your system. Think dirt. Is there a chance that the contacts on both the laptop and RAM are dirty? Are you sure that you installed it correctly? It's easy to get it wrong in a laptop. It's real easy.
