HELP...1987 944 wont start afer replacing timing belt
I had a socalled porsche guru replace my timing belt now it wont start and when it does it just backfires and then dies.

Hi, You need to get your timing belt checked. Dont attempt to start the engine until your timing pullys are reset because if your cam is set wrong it WILL cause valve damage.If it is allready correctly set then i suggest you test the compresion in case damage was caused when belt was fitted.
