Hey i am using ubuntu 9 .i put it on upgrade yestarday and electricity went off .. nw it is not booting up . i knw how to format but i dnt wnt to do so ... how do i repair ubuntu using the live cd option ??? any idea (uvuntu 9.10 desktop edition)

the latest version is 10.04 its more relieble than the previous

when you turn on your computer choose system recovery mode than write this line sudo apt-get upgrade
