Hey I have a 460 Dual AMP and it has been working perfectly for five years and now it isnt working at all. It turns out when i recently got my car worked on they moved the amp and disconnected the three wires. Two of them are relatively the same thickness, one being red and the other is black (i think one of them is the power). The third wire is blue and is not as thick as the other two. Do u have any idea how I can hook it back up? I think one of the wires is the ground and one is the power but not sure about the third
The blue one is normally related to automatic pop up antena, do you have one ? Now the red wire is a main source of power which should be connected straight to the battery. Now this blue wire may well be the remote which is connected to the amp and which your radio uses to wake up the amp and to start taking power from battery. Now for the non working problem, I would suggest you check there is power coming to it and all wiring are connected in the right place. Also many of these amp comes with internal fuse to protect themselves from high voltage...so check that too.
