Hey i have the same problem! For me it is starting like this. My monitor will be OFF and i'll go to turn it on (computer is already loaded into windows) and it will turn on and then blink 4 to 5 times black screen. Monitor is COOL though cuz it's been OFF. so i bought a 5 year warranty with this monitor. I'll probably take it back to bestbuy soon if someone can't tell me what the problem is. I'll call tech support later.
