Hey my 2006 Suzuki swift has been playing up for around 6 months now and I think it's time to fix it, things I've come across is... Constant revving up and down, check engine light either on all the time or flashes repeatedly, struggles up hills, rattles and shakes when going up hill and in idle, also makes like a back fire sound but not actually a back fire cause it's under the hood, please help I'm short on money at the moment because of family issues and I can't afford to not have a car. Yes I'm a typical female so please don't expect me to know too much :) thanks guys

All the faults of the car dont need to be fixed all at once
you can stretch it out
idle control valve can be cleaned
the maf can be cleaned
air filter can be cleaned
replace spark plugs
disconnect battery terminals count to 5 then reconnect
see if the engine check light stays off
if the light comes back on
engine check light on means fault codes are stored in the ECU to be read
shop around for the cheapest place that can do a 10000 km service
and nothing more
