Hi actually i have a cifs40 deep gas fryer and recently i change the control thermostat, now when turn the pilot on ,after 15 second the pilot stay on,but when turn the control valve knob to on position ,and call for heat with control thermostate, the system goes totally off(pilot).could you tell me why. thankyou

Check the rear flue to make sure that it is free of any blockage. Replace the thermocouple. Watch the flame to see if the pilot continues to stay lit as the unit calls for heat. If the flame lifts off the pilot, you may need to adjust your gas pressure. You could have a bad high limit switch (looks much like your thermostat probe). Jump it out and see if it continues to run. Worst case would be a bad gas valve. Good luck.
Hi, from the above question, the problem is not with ht thermostat but with the control board. The control board fails to hold onto power when the device is heated up, that why it goes off automatically..
Hi, when the whole unit shuts down including the pilot light the thermocouple is not working properly. The thermocouple is what tells the gas safety valve that the pilot light is lighted. When the thermocouple fails and does not send the milli-volt (mv) signal to the gas safety valve due a failure the gas safety valve turns off the gas supply. (i.e total shut down) If you have a handyman around you can have him disconnect the thermocouple from the gas valve control and clean the mating area in the gas valve and on the bitter end of the thermocouple. After cleaning then reconnect the thermocouple. This sometimes corrects the problem. FYI you can get a thermocouple at most any large appliance parts supply. (You will need to the know total length) It would be even better to have the old one in hand during the trip to the parts store.
