Hi actually i have imperial ifs40 gas deep fryer,recently change the control thermostat,the pilot and thermopile is good working ,because the pilot stay on when release the knob on the gas valve,after that i have to turn the knob to ON position on gas valve,and call for burner heat by turning the control thermostate,but when i turn the control thermostate for burner to comes on,the fryer goes off totaly include pilot,could you help me please. thankyou there is no control board in this fryer,is just control thermostate ,high limit thermostate,thermopile and robertshaw millivolt gas valve. and other things could you let me know how conect all thermostate and thermopil in to the gas valve, there is 3 screw on gas valve.(TH,TH-PG,PG) thankyou

This wiring diagram should help you. After ensuring all of the wiring is correct, ensure all connections are clean and tight. Make sure the thermopile is properly positioned such that the pilot flame engulfs the thermopile. Test for continuity across the High Limit terminals to ensure the switch is closed and voltage is passing through it. If you continue to experience problems, replace the gas valve.
