Hi guys, i have a 2002 thunderbird and installed a set of reverse cone pipes, much like the old norton pipes. the pipes are made by D&D in fort worth texas,.they are a beautifully made pipe but since putting them on i get major popping when i back off . Would you have a solution to this problem as it draws unwanted attention

It sounds like you have changed the mixture by reducing back pressure on the exhaust.
The mixture will need to be richer to stop the popping.
On carburetor models you change the jets and fuel injection you change the computer. The maker of the pipes will have suggestions
