Hi I am changing the track rod end on my Peugeot 306 Meridian (year 2000). Once I have undone the nut above the ball joint section should I just be able to tap this out with a hammer or is it somehow screwed into the arm section? Please help thanks

You have to hit the ring that the ball joint fits into(just below the nut)and then hit the top of the threaded part.it will then fall out.
