Report "Hi, I drive a 99 Escort zx2 and whenever I've been driving for about 10 minutes, my car starts to make a screeching sound while I accelerate. It starts out kind of quiet but as I keep driving it progressively gets louder. The car does not make noise when I let off the gas or when I brake, it only makes this sound when I push on the gas pedal. Does anyone know what could be causing this?"
