Hi I have a 2006 Kia sportage which has a clonk when off road some where in the front, garage cant find it. Also the engine stalls at low speed and I have an engine warning light on but as I went to a non Kia garage for my service they dont know how to turn it off, can you help please
The clonk is a loose part - it can be a lot of things: worn out bushings or pivots, loose bearings or any other suspension part. If the garage can't find it then change garage. And since you have and engine warning light (which tells me there's something seriously wrong there) take it to a Kia garage. Not worth the trouble you can get into by trying to save a few bucks with some backyard mechanics.
Causes for stalling at low revs: low fuel pressure, dirty/clogged injectors, incorrect sparkplugs, defective ECM , bad distributor, bad/corroded electrical connections. The only way to find which is to test them all.
