Hi , I have a 2500 watts honda generator , it's starts & sounds alright but when you plug a power tool and once you press the trigger of tool it shuts off right away ... What could be the problem ?
Wow, you must have one mighty bit power tool there. The Honda genny should accept it easily. You don't mention the current draw of that power tool - it should be under approx. 2200W to allow for start-up load. The other possibility is an excessively long power cord or even a short-circuit in the tool ...... or a problem with the genny itself! Try plugging in your wife's hair dryer to check it. Failing that you should get an electrician to check it all out. Good luck.
There just regular power tools like circular saws & drills and same thing happens it shuts the generator right awayThere just regular power tools like circular saws & drills and same thing happens it shuts the generator right away
