Hi i have a 93 nissan pulsar n14 i started it the other morning and it was running rough at idoling but not as bad under acellaration. i changed the spark plugs and used a commodore lead and checked the leads one by one still no difference. i know the clutch is almost stuffed but not sure if this would make it run rough

This cars are known for bad distributor caps,also clean the throttle body.also how about the coil, thats not arching is it?.another the to look at would be the oxygen sensor it may be running rich or lean, take a look at these things and see what you have there, also check the injectors resistance, specs are 1-2 ohms. one more thing to look at is the egr valve,make sure its not opening @ idle.good luck. easy to see if the clutch is causing this problem and that by have car in neutral and see if it runs rough, this way if clutch isnt completly disengaging it wont matter in neutral.
