The BECM will retain the EKA code, so , charge or replace the battery. Close all doors, windows bonnet etc, then try the EKA code. You must know, that if you enter the incorrect code or do not enter the code correctly by returning the key to the centre position after each turn of the key , more than 3 times, then the system will lock out and you will have to wait 30 minutes to retry. It should start , but it would be good to get another remote handset, Hope that helps
As i said, lock the vehicle down and try the EKA .If you have been starting the car previously using the EKA, then you obviously know how to do it. Remember, if the code was entered incorrectly 3 times, you will have to wait at least 30 minutes for the system to allow you to try again. If you still cannot reset the system , then you will have to get the car to the dealer to check, where the fault lies.As i said, lock the vehicle down and try the EKA .If you have been starting the car previously using the EKA, then you obviously know how to do it.
