Hi i have a creda iw160v that wont spin or empty the water from the drum. It gets to the spin programme and you can hear a kind of continuous clicking noise. I have cleared some muck and a button from the pump filter on the front of the machine. Any ideas?

You would have to remove the pump underneath. Ones removed you will see probably a small socks lodged in it. This keeps the drum from spinning and also draining the water. This can also cause the motor to short so i hope it is not shorted yet. Those pumps are attached with large clips, and has two hoses attached to it. Make sure you have a pan to catch the water. and unplug it first. lots of water and electricity is a bad combination. If the pump is mechnically damaged you can get one for about 30 bucks.
