Hi, I have a marshall VS65R I bought in 96. It sat in storage for close to 8 years. I plugged it in and it sounded great....a week later at band rehearsal I played two songs and the sound went out...I still have power and the preamp tube still glows.....can you help me out?

Some of these have electrolytic caps in the power supply that are nearing end-of-life. I would take unit in for servicing if you are not electronically adept.
First thing though, check for a bad input jack as these often go bad. A wiggle test of the plug should make that possibility reveal itself.
