Hi i have a renault scenic 1.9 dci dynam 2001, i was driveing down the road with the wife and my three children and the car just stalled i stopped then after about ten min the car started agen got 1 mile down the road same again but this time the car wouldnt start i called the breakdown team had to get towed home got home then i seen the light on on the dash i read the renault book and it said warning light for serous injection fault. the breakdown man said its probaly the fuel pump dose anyone else know what it could be as i dont want to be spending alot of money for nothing please help

The first thing you need to do is have the engine control module scanned for fault codes, you will need a code reader for an OBD2 engine control system, then post the fault codes here. I would also see if the engine has fuel pressure, the test port is in the pipe that supplies fuel to the injectors under the hood top of the engine.
