Hi ,I have a stereo receiver that is 400w the problem is when I turn vol up to halfway it cutts off I tryd other speakers it does the same both speakers are about the same watts to ?? could you help?k

That will be a fault in the main power amp board, perhaps the main output device or devices, located on the heat sink.
