Hi I have a technics rs-hd81 tape deck the left direction runs slow or fast the right hand side plays normal any idea thank you
Left direction not playing the same as the right side direction .right sounds normal left side fast slow not right sound.

I would start by going on line and replacing all the tiny "O" ring drive belts, very cheap to buy.
