Hi. I have a Woodchuck fb4052 log splitter, and after I split a log, I have to fiddle with the handle to get the ram to retract. I don't have a manual, maybe the fluid level is off, but don't know where it should be, or what kind of oil to use. If I push the lever down, it will creep back, and if I raise the handle a little, it will speed up a bit, but with the handle all the way up, it stops. Maybe the check valve? Thanks, Mike

I beleive there is an hydraulic release valve that must be in the open position for this to retract
