Hi i have also the same problem with my advent milano when i boot the note book up it starts as normal then goes straight to the blue screen and i cant seem t get it in safe mode at all it jst goes straight to the blue screen for about a second and jst reboots ive tried th techguys start up but that dont seem to work i dont want ro really reinstall a new xp because i have ils on there that i have nt backed up plz plz plz help me im in a dilema !!!!

If there is a very important info inside.
Take a HD and connect it to other machine as a secondary disk.
Take a backup.
Then take a Operating system CD/DVD and make a new installation - There is a small change to get it fixed by installing it in repair way. But nothing can beat clean installation if it's possible. You will get much faster machine that way.
