Hi, I have QuarkXpress 6.5 on my computer at home and I need to open some files I created in QuarkXPress 8.1 at my former company. I have moved overseas and I'm trying to print out some things for my portfolio. Do you know of any way I can open these files without having to buy the new version of Quark? Thanks for your help. My email address is [email protected] - Katie

There's really no direct way to open an 8.1 file in 6.5. Quark doesn't make it easy to do these things. The only thing you can do is save 8 down to 7 down to 6, but there's a lot of new stuff between the versions, so if you had the access to do that, you'd most likely lose formatting and information.
