Hi. I have the CH-DVD 300 DVD that I bought several years ago. I need to replace the battery but I cannot open the battery holder with my finger or screw driver. Any suggestions as to what I can do to access it or do I need to buy a new remove?

Hi there,
Well NO need to buy a new remote just try the following -
1. Push the catch on the battery cover upwards and pull the battery cover off the body of the remote control.
You may find this a difficult process as the battery cover extends around the bottom of the remote control. You should hold the top part of the remote control firmly in one hand and use the other hand to push the catch and pull the battery cover off the body of the remote control.
2. Carefully remove the old batteries then insert the new batteries, matching the + and – signs.
3. Once the batteries are in place, replace the cover, ensuring that the catch clicks back into place.
Note. Don't leave flat batteries in your remote control. Always replace both batteries at the same time; don't mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
