I went straight to Alesis and they had no listing for a DM4. However I did find a listing elsewhere for an Alesis D4 and the link for it's manual in PDF format is:
Didn't you find the manual at that address I gave you. Or was it the wrong one. I found no listings for the DM4 manual anywhere. When it doesn't even appear on the manufacturers homesite I start to wonder if it's a Chinese copy you have. Or maybe it was a very limited run and the model was given a different number when it was released. I would like some feedback to get to the bottom of this. I hate unanswered questions because you certainly wasn't happy with the first one. I don't get paid to do this but a little pride drives me to make sure the customer is completely happy and hopefully return at a later date with another problem.Didn't you find the manual at that address I gave you. If you do a search for a DM4 the only headings you get are D4's and the D4 looks nothig like your unit. The D4 is a rack mounted unit about 4 inches thick. No where like yours. Can you double check to see if there is a sticker on the bottom of the unit with a different model number printed on it. Anything but DM4 would be great except the serial number :-)If you do a search for a DM4 the only headings you get are D4's and the D4 looks nothig like your unit. Hi.
I assume you mean the D4 module:?
Are you sure it is a dm4 that you have all that Alesis has is dm5, dm6 and dm10. I did find a d4 manual that I will list below.
http://www.dbdrums.com.ar/includes/seccion/downloads/Alesis%20D4%20Manual.pdf
Or you can go to this link below and click on the Electronic Percussion then click on all for what they have manuals for.

I hope it's the right one.
