Hi, i recently changed the engine in my mitsi siga and on replacing found out had no reverse, which is werid because i did before i pulld out the engine... also when in drive reads 2nd on the dash ne ideas on how to fix?

I assume its a automatic you might have stacked the front pump . (stacked means the torqueconveter came out a little when you pulled the engine and disengaged the trans oil pump when you reinstalled the engine the conv. may not have reengaged with the pump and Stacked on top of the pump gears this distroys the pump will cause low pressure and burns up the rev clutches
