Hi, I use my DVX100b as a playback deck and output to a TV monitor as a cheap solution for a monitor when editing in FCP 6. I discovered this recently, and it has worked great to give me a better look at my fotage, but has quit working somewhere between my last use of the camera and upgrading my OS to to Snow Leopard. Can someone explain what is involved here? Thanks!

Do you have the proper driver installed on the new O/S ??
If the O/S doesnt know what the DVX100b is - it cannot communicate with it.

Yeah it would be the upgrade to snow leopard that caused you issue. You might want to revert back and see. The issue is Snow leopard does not support "all hardware" and thus you would be searching for drivers and what not. So I would suggestion you try reverting back until a driver is made up for that operating system.

Native sure but not native all the time for all os upgrades.
Try reverting back then come back to the site
