Hi I'm having a problem with a STIHL TS 700 Saw . I'm not getting a spark . I have Put in a new ignition coil and it doesn't work . I've even Checked the Switch and it is good . I have even removed the wire from the Coil , and that doesn't even help me . Could you please tell me what is the Problem ?
You seem to have done everything, you need to make sure you have a 0.3mm gap between the coil and the flywheel magnets, you also need to give the starter a good pull when checking for a spark, if all this fails then the new unit is bad, is it a genuine Stihl part? if its a cheap Chinese copy then it will not be a good quality item.
