Hi ive purchased a Vivicam xx128, new batteries in correctly and took 5 photo battery went down to 1 section immediately. new batteries took 7 pics and same thing happened again. Is this usual ?

Yes, especially if you use cheap batteries. Recommend getting the lithium batteries for it
