Hi, just purchased the JS8 from the States (I'm in Australia), and power connection is, I assume, an American one. Can you please advise which converter I need to purchase so I can operate this unit in Australia?

If you are on 220 there, just get a 220 to 110 TRANSFORMER type step down. You don't need a very big one, then you can use the supplied convertor. DO NOT use one that is intended for hair dryers type appliances.
