Hi. My Buffalo 1tb hard drive is not mounting. It's all switched on and plugged in as it always has been. The only issue is that I inadvertently unplugged it from the mac without putting it in the trash first. So now on mounting the top green light comes on, but the red light that normally flashed when it's mounting is not coming on. Please help! Thanks. Paul Burgess

Sounds like you're running a stripe array which is great for performance but lacks any resiliency at all to this type of shutdown.
