You must take apart the pilot assembly, remove the 1/4" aluminum tubing and the pilot generator. use 1/2" wrench for the pilot tubing and 7/16" wrench for the generator. with a lighter near the tubing opening..push the knob on the valve and see if you get about a 6 inch flame. Inside the pilot assembly in a small steel pilot orifice. (kinda looks like a small thimble). Take it out. Make sure that is clean... you can use a wire brush. That should solve your problem.
