Upon further investigation by taking the rear freezer panels off shows the freezer to be frozen solid preventing the cold air created by the freezer to flow to the fridge thus creating the problem above. After manually defrosting the freezer the fridge and freezer return to temporary operation for the four week period (see above) any ideas of a permanent solution?"
