Hi, my reader is saying "android.process.acore has stopped" Force closing won't work. I know firmware update via zip file is available but it's midnight here and I don't have an sd card handy. Can anything be done via the usb cable to my laptop if I downloaded zip file to laptop? Thanks, Dave
Sorry to hear your are having issues with your Cruz Reader. I have a Cruz Reader R101. Unfortunately you have to update via the SD card for the Cruz Reader. It doesn't do a firmware update from the USB cable. If you don't want to try and update it now you could also try to just restart it. If you can't get it to restart normally you can remove the back cover and unplug the battery, then plug it back in.
I am having the same problem. I tried to update and it still did not work. I loved this little reader but now I am having second thoughts. Any suggestions?I am having the same problem.
