Hi, my Roomba robot is spinning around. I cleaned it by disassembling wheels, gear compartment, etc.. Cliff sensors cleaned with compressed air. Briefly ran fine, but started to spin again. It's not under waranty anymore. Any suggestion please! Thanks, Olga
Usually this occurs when the front wheel is jammed or can't move freely, please verify if this is the case or not on your Roomba.
Also, what model number of Roomba do you have? it should be located on the bottom of the unit on a label. Something like 4xx or 5xx (where the x's are numbers) will be the model.
Please let me know, I am sure we can get this figured out or find what is wrong, just please give me a bit more info.
Oh dear that is a very bad sign then. Any time it just circles like that without having stuck wheels, and makes the "uh oh" noise it means it is having a malfunction of the control module.. the brain of the device. Something is more or less "short-circuiting" in the roomba and it doesn't know what to do. It is repairable but not by Roomba for free since it is out of warranty. You will want to contact them to see about the repair, it may not be worth it though, but inquire and see what they say. Their number is 877.855.8593 and I believe they are open right now actually.
Let me know what you find, there are other options as well, but that is definitely the best one.
I can confirm though that there is no simple fix for your Roomba, it is having some major issues.

I'm glad to hear the system test found a fault in the unit, chances are you will still need to get it serviced though, but it's possible you could do the maintenance yourself.

How many times is it beeping? Different number of beeps means different things.
