Hi the clean lint filter is coming up. The filter is clean and the ext. hose is clean. The dryer will not start. Is there a sensor that could be blocked? GE dryer model # DHDVH66EH1BB. Also if there is, where is it? Thanks
Thanks for using FixYa. To start with the first thing you should do is to remove the lint filter and clean the lint out of inside where the lint screen goes. After this unplug the unit for 5-10 minutes and then push & hold the start/pause button for 10-15 seconds and reconnect the unit. If still it won't work then it seems to be the issue with the Thermal Fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
