Hi, this my sound silly but im hearing conflicting versions on how I should fit my Gibson Montana guitar strap to my acoustic. Do I fit it thick part of strap infront of me on the guitar and the thinner side at my back on the back of the guitar? Regards Paul

The thinner side of the strap will always go closer to the neck, it looks better, and the thicker end will then be taking most of the weight of the guitar
